Personalized Care
The 4myheart Program provides personalized care to help improve and maintain heart health. Enrollment in the Program is easy and available at no additional cost or obligation for nine months after a Berkeley HeartLab test is ordered. Using the Berkeley HeartLab test results and the doctor's treatment plan, a Berkeley HeartLab Clinical Educator provides information to address each patient's risk for heart disease and stroke.
The 4myheart Program offers a personal touch through individual and group education, and many patients have seen impressive results in terms of cardiovascular risk reduction. Clinical Educators can instruct patients about the following areas:

- Nutrition: Eating the right type and portion of foods
- Exercise: Choosing the appropriate frequency, intensity, and type of exercise
- Stress: Learning and practicing stress-relief techniques
- Medication: Discussing how they work, why they are needed, and how to minimize or prevent side-effects

The 4myheart Program is available to all patients at no additional cost or obligation and includes:
- Clinical Educators that provide information about how to reduce heart disease risk
- Personalized nutrition and exercise education based on genetics, health history, and personal focus
- Community sessions that help patients connect with each other and learn more
- 4myheart.com access including the ability to view personalized Berkeley HeartLab test results, heart-healthy recipes, 4myheart Team challenges, and much more!
